VISTO PER VOI – MISSION IMPOSSIBLE DEAD RECKONING – PART ONE

Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part one, the seventh chapter of one of the most famous sagas in the history of action cinema. Tom Cruise returns as secret agent Ethan Hunt.

In Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team are faced with the most dangerous challenge they have ever faced: find and defuse a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity.With the fate of the world and control of the future hanging in the balance, the team embarks on a frantic mission across the globe to prevent the weapon from falling into the wrong hands.Faced with a mysterious and powerful enemy and tormented by dark forces from the past, Ethan will be forced to decide whether to sacrifice everything for this mission, including the lives of those he  holds dear.

It all began way back in 1996 with M.I (n. 1), directed by Brian De Palma and from here on it was a succession of missions, directors, actors and successes, up to the partnership in M.I Rogue Nation with the director Christopher McQuarrie. A partnership that is probably destined to last a long time… at least until 2024 with the release of M.I. – Dead Reckoning- part two.

“Don’t be careful be competent”, this is the mood Tom Cruise relies on for the spectacular filming of the seventh chapter of Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning, which after the success of “Top Gun Maverik” he once again gives  his audience a sublime adrenaline-pumping experience, thanks also to the care and skill of his stunts.

Chapter number 7 is an action movie of a higher level. Breathtaking images and sequences. A pressing rhythm and extraordinary quality and attention to detail. The viewer is totally overwhelmed and captured by the big screen. Among  Fiat 500 chases in Rome (in which Tom Cruise drives with only one hand) and the sequence of the train scene (the train was  completely rebuilt in detail and each carriage has a different decor ..to then be destroyed) and the launch with a motorcycle from an impressive height (thrilling) there’s time for a smile, (thanks to some funny moments that ease  the tension) and to take a breath to stop and reflect on artificial intelligence as useful as it is dangerous , a  very current topic .-

( forerunner of the theme – Terminator – which in 1984– spoke of skynet artificial intelligence that sent cyborgs to the past to destroy human resistance).

Tom succeeds in his first part of Mission Impossible… he entertains and amuses his audience and raises the bar even further by creating enormous expectations for the next chapter of the saga. We just have to go to the cinema to appreciate the craziest and most competent Hollywood actor in the world, and enjoy a film that has all the potential of becoming a huge blockbuster.

Last  year at the Oscar Luncheon , Steven Spielberg defined Tom Cruise  as the man who saved and continues to save Hollywood’s ass .  And we all agree.

 Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Parte uno, il settimo capitolo di una delle saghe più famose della storia del cinema action. Tom Cruise ritorna nei panni dell’agente segreto Ethan Hunt.
 
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Parte Uno, Ethan Hunt ( Tom Cruise) e la sua squadra dell’IMF si trovano di fronte alla sfida più pericolosa che abbiano mai affrontato: trovare e disinnescare una nuova terrificante arma che minaccia l’ intera umanità.
Con il destino del mondo e il controllo del futuro appesi a un filo, la squadra inizierà una frenetica missione in tutto il mondo, per impedire che l’arma cada nelle mani sbagliate.
Messo di fronte a un nemico misterioso e onnipotente, tormentato da forze oscure del passato, Ethan sarà costretto a decidere se sacrificare tutto per questa missione, comprese le vite di coloro che gli stanno più a cuore.
 
Tutto iniziò nel lontano 1996 con la M.I (n. 1), diretto da Brian De Palma e da qui in poi è stato un susseguirsi di missioni, di registi, di attori e di successi, fino al sodalizio in M.I Rogue Nation con il regista  Christopher McQuarrie. Un sodalizio che probabilmente è destinato a durare molto… almeno fino al 2024 con l’uscita di M.I. – Dead Reckoning- parte due.
 
“Don’t be careful be competent Non essere attento sii competente”, questo è il mood a cui si affida Tom Cruise per le riprese spettacolari del settimo capitolo di Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning, che dopo il successo di “Top Gun Maverik” regala nuovamente al suo pubblico un’esperienza adrenalinica sublime, grazie anche alla cura e alla competenza dei suoi stunts.
 
Il capitolo numero 7 è un action movie di un livello superiore. Immagini e sequenze che lasciano senza fiato. Un ritmo incalzante ed una qualità e cura nei dettagli straordinaria. Lo spettatore viene totalmente travolto e catturato dal grande schermo. Tra inseguimenti in Fiat 500 a Roma (in cui Tom Cruise guida con una sola mano) e la sequenza della scena del treno (il treno è stato tutto ricostruito nei dettagli ed ogni vagone ha un arredamento diverso ..per poi essere distrutto) ed il lancio con una moto da un’altezza impressionante (da brivido) si ha il tempo di un sorriso, (grazie ad alcuni momenti divertenti che smorzano la tensione) e di un respiro per fermarsi e riflettere su una tanto utile quanto pericolosa intelligenza artificiale, tema attualissimo.-

(precursore del tema – Terminator – che nel 1984– narrava di skynet intelligenza artificiale che inviava nel passato cyborg per distruggere la resistenza umana).

Tom riesce nella sua prima parte di Missione Impossibile… intrattiene e diverte il suo pubblico e alza ancor di più l’asticella creando enormi aspettative per il prossimo capitolo della saga.Non ci resta che andare al cinema per apprezzare l’attore hollywoodiano più matto e più competente al mondo, e godere di un film che ha tutti i presupposti per diventare un grande blockbuster.
 
Steven Spielberg all’Oscar Luncheon dell’anno scorso, lo ha definito come l’uomo che ha salvato e continua tutt’oggi a salvare il c…o a Hollywood. E noi siamo d’accordo.
